About
Catherine Williams, PhD, Reverend
Catherine started her path of awakening at the age of 19, when she began her healing work recovering from addiction. Through years of therapy, 12 step practice, yoga, and spiritual seeking she moved through her own dark passage ways - the pain of abandonment, family disfunction, medical trauma, and self-abandonment - stepping out into the light that results from integration, healing, and self-love. Knowing she had a unique perspective to offer, she devoted her early service work and professional career toward helping adolescents struggling with substance abuse.
She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2001 from the California School of Professional Psychology, and was licensed as a Psychologist in 2003. Her dissertation was an early harbinger of her current writings on spirituality, titled "Spirituality as a Protective Factor Against Adolescent Substance Abuse." She began teaching undergraduate Psychology courses at 25. Since then, Dr. Williams has enjoyed a rich career as a Clinical Psychologist, a college professor of Psychology, as well as a dean of a college campus - where she was the supervisor of more than 200 faculty and staff, responsible for a multi-million dollar annual operational budget and led more than $20 million in campus improvements and building projects.
In 2011, she completed the Clairvoyant Intuitive Training program at the the Church of Aesclepion Healing, where she is ordained as a Reverend. In 2016, she suffered a traumatic brain injury after a bicycle crash, the resulting post-traumatic growth and healing process resulted in her living from “the inside out”, where all her activities are motivated by spiritual growth and liberation. In 2019, through her daily meditation practice Reverend Catherine built a channel of direct communication with spirit guides on the causal plane. She is guided to share this communication with others, opening our hearts to directly experience that:
Love never dies - only deepens,
We are all specifically cared for, looked after, and guided on our journeys, and
The spirit and natural world exist in ever connected Oneness.
